She may never be as famous as her movie star siblings River and Joaquin, but who would you rather see naked: her marquee brothers or neo-hippie ingénue Summer Phoenix? The intense and natural brunette beauty has been making audiences howl since she guest starred on Airwolf at the age of five. Like her other siblings, Summer was an established child actor. Her early credits include the series Murder, She Wrote, Duet, Growing Pains, ABC Weekend Specials, and The New Leave It to Beaver, as well as the movies Taking It Home (1986) and Russkies (1987). She left showbusiness in 1990, but only temporarily, as she returned as an adult in the 1997 movie Arresting Gena. This Phoenix rose from the ashes of a seedy industry to make pants rise and seeds spill. A progeny of Christian missionaries, Summer shared her blessed boobs, buns, and bush in Esther Kahn (2000). The game girl’s motto must be, “If you’re going to try something new, you might as well try it buck naked.” Summer toned back to tits-only for her bare-top role in The Believer (2001). She switched back to bottom shots for Suzie Gold (2004), showing off her golden rump. Unfortunately, Summer hasn’t been nude on screen since then and has acted only sporadically. Ironically, one of her most recent credits is the short film Skin (2019). Because of her early start in the industry, Ms. Phoenix is a lot younger than her filmography suggests.
